The Futures Labs is a practical testing and growth supporting centre for students, faculty and alumni of the Master of Science in Information Technology Management (MSIT) and Master of Science in Public Policy (MSPPM) courses working on innovative solutions to solve institutional and societal problems.
At a time when location does not matter, The Futures Labs will support students to work collaboratively and virtually with clients across the world. will support and strengthen the ability of students to work on capstone projects, solutions for institutional and societal problems and also stimulate entrepreneurship development among students and alumni. The Futures Labs add further weight to the university’s support to students so that they have an unparalleled student experience.
The Futures Labs aims to bring cohesion, coherence, and continuity to existing client centred initiatives; catalyse engagement and support efficient and effective completion of external projects. Clients can work in partnership with students in their respective labs and benefit from additional university support as needed.
The Futures Labs is expected to be one of the few globally focussed virtual innovation centres in South Australia, equipped with tools and infrastructure to enhance the student engagement beyond classroom teaching. It aims
to be connected to multiple internal and external stakeholders to optimise business & collaborative opportunities, driving creative and solutions-based thinking.
