CMU-A Supports Bushfire Management Efforts in Rural Australia

Posted 17th January 2020

Australia is experiencing unprecedented fires this Summer. Our thoughts are with those affected and we also applaud the tireless efforts of fire fighters, emergency services and the hundreds of volunteers working around the clock to protect people, our native flora and fauna, communities and infrastructure. Thankfully, our campus and its surrounding areas are unaffected, and at present there is no threat from the fires with students continuing to enjoy the great lifestyle Adelaide has to offer. We look forward to welcoming new students this year.

The South Australian government has launched the SA Bushfire Appeal to raise funds for people directly affected by bushfires in Cudlee Creek and on Kangaroo Island. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, can make a difference to those most affected by this tragedy. We encourage all those who can to make contributions to support those affected. If you’d like to support this fund please go to: https://www.sa.gov.au/topics/emergencies-and-safety/bushfire-appeal
