Dr Adam Graycar AM has held positions of Professor of Public Policy or Social Policy at Flinders University, National University of Singapore, the Australian National University, Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey and University of New South Wales. He has also been a Visiting Professor at numerous leading universities in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
He acquired extensive policy experience over 22 years in the various senior level posts he has held in government in Australia, both in the Federal and the South Australian Governments. These included Head of the Cabinet Office (Government of SA), Director of the Australian Institute of Criminology, and back in the 1980s, Commissioner for the Ageing. He now works extensively with agencies such as the United Nations and World Bank.
He is the author of some 300 academic publications. His latest book Understanding and Preventing Corruption was published in the UK and New York.
