Dana Rawls

Dana Rawls is a writer and editor with almost 20 years of media and communications experience. She has worked in the United States, Iraq, and now in Australia.  A graduate of the University of Georgia and Georgetown, Dana has served as a visiting lecturer at the University of Technology in Lae, Papua New Guinea where she spoke to mass communications students on the importance of incorporating the principles of Communication for Development (C4D) when implementing development programs in-country.

Dana is constantly exploring ways to combine her two passions, media and international development, and is currently writing about the many ways that Information and Communication Technologies can be used to spur economic and social development on a global scale.
